Since its inception in 2015, Mothership has been a titan in our thriving local creative scene - hosting countless events, film shoots, screenings, exhibitions and workshops, and supporting scores of local artists.
As we approach 10 years of the Mothership, there’s a new crew at the helm; a team of artists, musicians and event professionals who live, work and play in Marrickville. We are passionate about Sydney’s cultural scene, and steering the Mothership through its next voyage as an artist-run community space.
The space spans more than 1600sqm over two levels and a courtyard. The central multi-purpose space features a dramatic 7-metre ceiling and rugged industrial vibes. Our upstairs artists studios and co-working space is affordably priced and houses 20 artists of all mediums.
The Mothership is proudly independent.
